Change of plans! I'm rescheduling this trip to June 29th to try to include more people and give folks more time to RSVP! So please make a note of this schedule change!

Zach and I had a lot of fun last weekend and we really enjoyed the new steel coaster, Thunderhawk, as well as my old favorite, Shivering Timbers. Michigan's Adventure doesn't really require a full day out, so I figure we'll probably leave around 5 p.m., or whenever the group wants to go. Bring your swimming gear in case you want to do the water park too (it's included in admission).

I can drive and can carry up to three passengers. If someone else wants to volunteer to drive, let me know. We'll all share gas costs. There won't be a parking fee for anyone who travels with me, since I have a season pass that includes parking.

Meet in front of the Frandor Kroger at 10 a.m. on Sunday!

Please RSVP and pay by the end of the day on Thursday, June 26 if you want me to buy discount tickets for you. Otherwise, you can buy your own online at the park's web site (if I get them for you at AAA they'll be $23.50, if you buy them online they're $25.00).

    Wow, we have five people coming -- our biggest outing yet. That means someone besides me is going to have to drive. My Civic really can't realistically carry five adults. Three in the back would be a killer. Can anyone else carry five a bit more comfortably? (I don't mind sitting in the middle, I did it all the way up to the UP on a family trip once...)
