Here is the first big Coaster Crusaders Trip on Meetup.com.

When: October 10-12

Where: Sat Oct 11 at Busch Gardens Europe
Sun Oct 12 at Kings Dominion


What: It's a big trip people. Halloween at the Parks. We leave Friday Oct 10th in the early evening and drive down to near Williamsburg, VA. We stay over night and attend Busch Gardens Europe on Sat Oct 11. After a day at the park we drive an hour north to Doswell, VA and stay over night. On Sunday we attend Kings Dominion and drive all the way home afterward. Plan on getting back to the Philly area near Midnight (hopefully before then).

How: That's the thing isn't it. Depending on the number of people interested we can rent a Minivan and split the cost (rental + Gas + Tolls). The trip will also require 2 overnight stays. We will find a some place relatively inexpensive to stay. You can stay alone or with someone. Depending on the number of people interested we can match up roommates. It's all very fluid.

I'll handle the logistics as I've done this sort of thing many times before. This should be early notice enough to give people time to think about it.

    Glad to see your on board Rich. To the others, if you are interested, but not sure, mark yourself as maybe. If you'd like to go, but are unsure about logistics/finances mark yourself as yes (no shame in stepping down if things don't work out). The sooner I get a good idea of yeses and maybes I can get some preliminary trip cost estimates out to everyone.
